Lunch with Azenete
Lunch with Azenete
The fruit and vegetables are washed and waiting to be cut, trimmed and prepared for lunch. Azenete looks at me and smiles with adoration in her eyes, I smile back she moves closer. Taking the knife I cut a banana then, as she holds her mouth open, I place the piece inside. She eats it then smiles again. We follow the same procedure for each fruit, and vegetable except for onions and garlic.
She eats quietly, calmly being so patient. Then Tina comes in and says, "I told you not to feed my dog that stuff."
Azenete moves around behind me then sits back down.
"She thinks she is your dog," adds Tina.
